Hello Monroe Families-
I hope you had a good week! We have lots to share as we head into Winter Break this week and next but before we do I wanted to make sure to share some important updates below with you. Please read a letter from our beloved Counselor, Carrie Tilson-
I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to inform you of an upcoming change in my role within the 4J School District. Beginning in mid-January, I will be transitioning to a new position as the Deputy Title IX Coordinator at the district office.
In this new role, I will be responsible for supporting our district-wide efforts to ensure a safe, inclusive, and respectful environment for all students and staff. This includes working closely with our k-12 schools to address any concerns related to discrimination, harassment, or other issues covered by Title IX. I will continue to work in partnership with our district leadership to promote an atmosphere where every student feels valued and supported.
While I will be moving to the district office, please know that I remain fully committed to the well-being of our students and families at Monroe. I will be checking in with individual students throughout the next few weeks and working closely with the new school counselor to ensure a smooth transition for students.
Should you have any questions or wish to reach out, please don’t hesitate to contact me at email/phone. I appreciate the opportunity to serve this community, and I’m excited to continue supporting 4j students in this new capacity.
Thank you for your understanding and continued support.
Sincerely,
Carrie Tilson
