Monroe 8th Grade Families-
In addition to our 8th Grade Promotion Ceremony, we are recognizing our 8th Graders with a trip to Camp Harlow to participate in a variety of activities (swimming, zip lining, go karts, mini golf, etc.)!

We recognize your right to decide whether you would like your student to go or not. Most of the trip costs will be funded by school funds. However, with high priced Camp Harlow costs and increased transportation costs, there is a $18 per student cost to attend this field trip, although financial aid is available. Only students with properly signed permission slips are allowed to make this trip. Please sign and return the Permission Form to the front office no later than June 2, 2023. Additionally, students may be excluded from the trip if there have been suspendable behaviors as communicated by the school (students of those families will be notified directly by administration).
Your student already received all of the forms below in their Science class. Forms are also available on our Monroe Website and in the front office. Again, please have your student return the signed forms to the front office no later than June 2, 2024, no exceptions.

Chaperones
We are in need of parent chaperones ("4j-approved volunteers") to make this trip happen for our 8th graders. Parents will be stationed around the camp, supervising and helping students as needed. Please submit the form below if you are willing and able to join. We will reach out to those who are confirmed to chaperone.
