Monroe Families - 

Please see below for our upcoming events to celebrate our 8th graders!

8th Grade Photo Memory Board: Tri-folds are now available for parents to pick up in the front office! If you would like your student to pick up the tri-fold please have them come to the front office. This will replace our photo slideshow that we’ve historically shown. We’ll provide each family with a standing tri-fold to decorate, put pictures on, write memories, share words of encouragement, etc. that will be displayed in the gym during our promotion ceremony - example attached. Once your memory board is complete drop it off in the front office by June 12th.

Walkthrough Promotion Ceremony + Dance: Join us on Thursday, June 13, 2024 for 8th grade promotion.

  • 6:00-7:15 PM- Student & Family Walkthrough: come anytime during this window! A detailed map and video will follow with specific instructions! 

    • Walk through the courtyard to get recognized- fun details to come! 

    • show up anytime between 6:00-7:15 pm 

  • 7:30-7:45- Closing Speeches on the blacktop 

  • 7:45-9:15- 8th Grade Only Dance in the Courtyard

    • dancing, games, activities, photo booth, free food, and so much more! 

8th Grade Promotion + Dance Volunteers: We are in need of volunteers to help set up promotion (decorating and building balloon arches). Please click HERE to sign up for a volunteer position. 

Donations for 8th Grade Promotion: We are currently accepting donations to help fund our 8th grade promotion and dance. All funds will go towards decorations, food + drinks for students and families, DJ and (2) photo booths! 

Camp Harlow: In addition to our 8th Grade Promotion Ceremony, we are recognizing our 8th Graders with a trip to Camp Harlow to participate in a variety of activities (swimming, zip lining, go karts, mini golf, etc.).
