Monroe Middle School

Monroe Fri-Yay 2/27

Posted Date: 02/27/26 (05:06 PM)

Dear Monroe Families,

It's amazing that the sun is shining as it feels like Spring. Thank you for your support this week as our team worked to reestablish normal routines following a challenging and emotional week for our Community. It was refreshing and uplifting to see students reengaging in academic tasks, participating in enrichment opportunities, and reconnecting with peers and staff.

As we look ahead, please take time to connect with your student about our school-wide “On-Track” assignment. This is an opportunity to review grades, attendance, adult connections at school, and overall progress. These conversations at home make a meaningful difference in helping students stay focused and supported.

We also head into Classified Appreciation Week, and we truly have the best and most dedicated classified staff around. They are the backbone of our school—our custodial team, food services, tech services, secretaries, Special Education Assistants, behavior support assistants, librarian assistants, registrars, and so many others who quietly and consistently “pave the way for student success” each day. Thank you for helping us honor them next week, including supporting a delicious lunch. Your partnership and steadfast support mean so much to our entire Community.

See below for key reminders- have a restful weekend...GO MUSTANGS!
